A lot of guests of foreign tourists are using at our guesthouse. As it is often difficult to reserve a new reservation if canceled by the guest just before the scheduled accommodation date, our guesthouse has set stricter cancellation policy than other companies. We appreciate your understanding.
Our house is a "accommodation facility" approved by the Japanese government.
Based on Japanese law, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced to all guests to "complete thoroughly fill out all items of the guest list."
For foreigners who do not have an address in Japan, it is also obligatory to copy passports in addition to filling in the guest list. In the case that the guest refuses to present the passport, there are cases where the police station is notified.
